This type of situation--where a friend I have not been in touch with approaches me with reports of disappointment or anger toward the school for the obvious mistreatment I endured--is no longer infrequent. Here, Paul Matteucci, a friend from graduate school 40 years ago, contacting me on Facebook.
Paul is willing to help secure the undergraduate phone, a plan Matt was excited about when I developed it in 2016. It was lost but may now be available again. Paul knows Tim Draper, the venture capitalist behind the email web app I was trying to get.
The point here is: why does the College refuse all engagement? Does not make sense. Nothing to be afraid of. Also, to not consider the phone is not rational.
