This is for those outside the William & Mary community. No ongoing dispute about faculty governance or student rights has been so visible at other universities, in the media, or in the legal community. The case was confined to William & Mary for the first years (from Oct 2015 through Sept 2016) and was known only to the AAUP for another nine months (when a charge was filed with the EEOC).
